When I was asked by the owners of The Rutherford to come shoot a special feature for the upcoming issue of the Upstate Wedding Magazine I felt honored! It wasn’t until after I committed I realized the wedding I was to document was actually the wedding of a friend! I was so stoked to be a part of Sarah’s wedding - She had become a close and trusted friend
As a wedding photographer in Greenville - I’ve been shooting so many weddings throughout the area in venues that have been designed or revamped into event spaces. Although I really love those kind of venues it was nice documenting a classic wedding in a church again! After getting to know Kaitlyn and Zane I realized there was never a chance they could have it anywhere else.
Every wedding I’ve ever documented is unique and special. Although that may sound cliche - it’s really true. Not only is every family different but I’ve come to really appreciate the small things that sets a couple and their day apart from all the others.
For example, I was stunned to hear that Lauren and Chris was getting married on their 10 year anniversary from the day they first met at a friends party.
