Every wedding I’ve ever documented is unique and special. Although that may sound cliche - it’s really true. Not only is every family different but I’ve come to really appreciate the small things that sets a couple and their day apart from all the others.
For example, I was stunned to hear that Lauren and Chris was getting married on their 10 year anniversary from the day they first met at a friends party. Cinco de Mayo has always been one of my favorite holidays (especially when I was in college) and it was awesome to spend it with Lauren and Chris and their family celebrating the beginning of the next stage in their life together.
The wedding was held at Arran Farm in Easley, SC - an awesome outdoor/indoor venue that’s new to the upstate. The views are beautiful from the open air church and once Lauren and Chris said “I do” the church bells rang - and the party was on! Yep - they have actual church bells to ring - it’s awesome!
Probably the coolest thing during the reception were the kids. They loved to dance! At some point during the Cupid Shuffle I realized that the images I’m taking to document the biggest day in Lauren and Chris’ life isn’t just for them. It’s also for all of the kids at this party too. When they grow up they will be able to look back in these albums and see who they were as kids and how much their family loved and adored them.
I also realized how lucky I am and how this is one of the greatest jobs in the world.
Congrats Lauren and Chris! I can’t wait to see all the amazing things you two accomplish together in your life!
